Delete your Payweek account
Two ways to do it. The first takes about ten seconds and needs nothing from us.
Last updated 3 August 2026
From inside the app
- Open Payweek and sign in
- Go to Settings
- Scroll to Delete my account
- Tap it, type DELETE to confirm, then tap Delete my account permanently
It happens straight away. You are signed out, and the account is gone before you get back to the sign-in screen.
Take a copy first, if you want one
The same screen has Export my shifts as a spreadsheet, which saves a CSV of every shift and what it paid. Do that before you delete — afterwards there is nothing left to export.
By email, if you can’t get into the app
If you have uninstalled Payweek, lost access to your email address, or simply can’t sign in, email privacy@payweek.app from the address on the account, or tell us the username you signed up with.
We delete the account and reply to confirm, normally within a few days and always within 30 days.
What gets deleted
| Data | What happens |
|---|---|
| Your account and sign-in details | Deleted immediately |
| Every shift you have logged | Deleted immediately |
| Agencies, pay rates and rate rules | Deleted immediately |
| Payslips you have checked | Deleted immediately |
| Your settings and display name | Deleted immediately |
| The copy held on your phone | Cleared when you sign out or uninstall. Uninstalling Payweek removes it whether or not you delete the account |
There is no undo, and nothing is kept back
Deleting is permanent. We keep no copy, no archive and no backup of a deleted account, and there is no grace period during which it could be restored. Nothing is retained for any period after deletion.
If you only want part of it gone
You don’t have to delete the whole account. Inside the app you can delete an individual shift, an agency and its rates, or a saved payslip, and keep everything else.
